Some Quizzes are GOOD!

What Kind of Knitter Are You?

You appear to be a Knitting Goddess. You are constantly giving and are unconcerned with reward, you simply want others to love knitting as much as you do. If someone wants to knit miles of novelty yarns, you are there for them. If someone wants to learn short row shaping, you can help. There are no taboos in knitting, only opportunities to grow. Everyone should have friend like you around if they want to learn to knit, and there's a good chance that your passion has rubbed off on a few others.http://marniemaclean.com

Knitting, knitting, and yes more knitting

but alas, no photos of knitting. I shall however amuse you with a photo of Guji Guji. Do not let that innocent face fool you. Right after snapping this photo, the lil tike pounced on my knees.

I've been tagged:

1. One book that changed your life: Zen and the Art of Knitting, Bernadette Murphy

2. One book that you've read more than once: I Heard the Owl Call My Name, by Margaret Craven

3. One book you'd want on a desert island: Bar and Cocktail Book: A Complete Guide to the World's Drinks and How to Mix and Serve Them, by Michael Jackson (not THAT Michael Jackson)

4. One book that made you laugh: The Katurran Odyssey, by Terryl Whitlatch & David Michael Weiger (read it with thee Wyldman, the art work is amazing!)

5. One book that made you cry: Angela's Ashes: A Memoir, by Frank McCourt

6. One book that you wish had been written: hmmmm I need to think on this one.

7. One book you wish had never been written: Mein Kampf, by Adolf Hitler

8. One book you're currently reading: The Looking Glass Wars, by Frank Beddor

9. One book you've been meaning to read: The Road to Wealth: A Comprehensive Guide to Your Money--Everything You Need to Know in Good and Bad Times, by Suze Orman

10. Tag 6 people: Alana, Lola, Elspeth, Dr. Michelle (I'll have to look around for two more.....feel free to tag yourself)

A New Week

Sorry no intriguing titles today. After a glorious week of nice weather (felt like September/October here) we are now back to our normal August temps with all the added condiments -- haze, humidity.

So, next door I go to get some knitting done. There's lots (aka too many) projects on the needles but all are things that I really want to get done. And because I feel like I've been negligent in the photo department here's one of our smiling Felix taken just last night by Thee Wyldman.

p.s. Hey G1 if you see this.... Guji said to say hello to Miri. He would like to be cyber friends.

AGHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Declaring war on teenagers! All our telephones are DEAD! In need of recharging. Most bothersome.

So, to fix my newest predictament I'm going to install a phone with a long cord that is connected to the wall. Then ban the teens from the portables. At least I'll be able to follow the cord to find them.

More soon.
